Corrections and Updates

Identify an error, check it, correct it and update.

Our approach to corrections and updates when errors or changes are identified after publication.

Management and editorialFX Minutes Editorial Team

Our checks continue when a problem emerges after publication.

If an error is confirmed in published content, we recheck the relevant sources and text and correct or update it as necessary. We do not change dates solely to improve search rankings.

Distinguish correcting an error from updating information.

Correction
We correct a statement when a factual error or important omission in the content at publication is confirmed.
Update
We revisit content when rules, specifications, conditions or sources change after publication.

Check first, then make the necessary changes.

  1. 01
    Check reports and changes

Identify the affected passages and the extent of their impact.

  2. 02
    Recheck sources

Return to sources close to primary information and compare them.

  3. 03
    Correct or update the text

Review the necessary context too, so that misunderstandings do not remain.

  4. 04
    Update dates and records

Reflect significant changes appropriately in update or last-checked dates.

We do not invent a corrections history.

We will consider a structure for displaying correction notes for significant corrections in the future. However, we do not create a fictitious corrections history or records such as ‘there have been no corrections to date’.

If you notice an issue with our content, please let us know through the contact page.
